Clowin' Around at the Circus
A couple of weekends ago, my parents took my cupcakes to the Cole Bros.Circus that comes to our hometown each year as part of a big annual festival. My husband and I were able to enjoy a nice dinner alone while my parents and our children were having fun under the big top! Win-win for everyone :) Here are some photos that my parents took to capture their fun afternoon:

Great pics! Looks like they had fun. It's been a long time since I've been to a circus.
Hi Tracy
I have been MIA recently surprise get away:) I am reading all your posts now. The Circus looks great, So glad you and your hubby had a chance to have a night out for yourselves that is so important for couples:)
FYI animal circus are not allowed in England due to animal rights people which is sad but we have seen some amazing people circus:) Voting for you today:)
Looks fun Tracy! I love the tigers :)
I have never been to a circus. It always looks like so much fun. Glad to hear you and your hubby had a "date night". Your son looks like he went through a growth spurt. Is he as tall as your oldest cupcake now? Have a great Wednesday. I voted for you.
What fun! And, how nice that your parents took the children for the day! It has been years since our family went to the circus. Have a great day! +JMJ+
Hi Renee Ann,
The kids had so much to share with us when they got home about all the acts they saw! Our 3 year old was even entertained for the whole 2 hours which is an amazing thing right there :) It's been a few years since I went to the circus too.
Hi Anna-Marie,
I would have liked to have gone to the circus because they are so much fun, but eating out with hubby was more fun :) I remember one year seeing animal rights people holding up signs outside where the circus was being set up, but I don't know if people still protest or not. I'm sure they do. That's interesting that England won't allow animals in the circus. I agree, we need to treat all God's creatures with respect, but does it seem twisted to you that sometimes there are more laws to protect animals than there are to protect our UNBORN? OK I won't get on my soap box here about pro-life issues, but I had to say something :)
Hi Mary,
Yes, we heard all about those tigers and how they jumped through a ring of fire! The kids enjoyed their performance! Thanks for stopping by to comment!
Hi Lynda!
I hope one day you'll get an opportunity to go to a circus. They are alot of fun and I'm always amazed by performers acts and how much time and dedication it takes to become a professional circus performer. My kids mentioned how young some of the kids were in the show. They are homeschooled for sure with all the traveling they do and practices. My son is growing tall and is almost as tall as my daughter. That's funny you observed that :) You have an eye for detail Lynda..that's one reason I like you :) I hope you are having a blessed Holy Week!
HI Annita,
I am grateful that my parents like to take my kids out on adventures in our local area. It was fun to hear my kid's talk about all the neat things they saw at the circus! I hope you are having a blessed Holy Week! Thanks always for stopping in and commenting!
