One of Many Reasons I Want to DEFUND PLANNED PARENTHOOD !
This past weekend was a little hectic to say the least....My father-in-law was hospitalized since Thursday with pneumonia, but thankfully came home today. Last night, I went to a very crowded visitation for a close family friend that passed away and today was the funeral. We'll miss you J.H.! Your funeral Mass was beautiful! So between hospital visits, my children's basketball games, funeral and life in general, blogging was put on the back burner, but such is life.
I wanted to share the video below on my blog to let others know more about Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood makes millions providing "healthy" and "safe" (their words, not mine) services for girls, women, and their unborn. I want to defund Planned Parenthood because I don't want my money used for killing innocent life through abortions!
This video shows another reason why I support defunding Planned Parenthood! Planned Parenthood will try to frame this fight as "women's rights". But we must keep the pressure on them by sharing the truth. The way they take advantage of women and young girls is despicable. Please share this short montage of PP repeatedly failing to protect girls from abuse. This video shows evil exposed in just 2 minutes. This is criminal and has got to end! There are full clips available at www.LiveAction.org.
A friend of mine just gave me this book to read, "The Hand of God, A Journey from Death to Life by the Abortion Doctor Who Changed His Mind" by Bernard N. Nathanson, M.D.
As stated on the back cover of the book, "Dr. Bernard Nathanson was co-founder in 1969 of the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (NARAL, later renamed the National Abortion Rights Action League, and was director of The Center for Reproductive and Sexual Health, then the largest abortion clinic in the world. In the late 1970s he turned against abortion to become a prominent pro-life advocate. Dr. Nathanson continues to write and speak about life issues across the nation and around the world."
I just found out that Dr. Nathanson passed away today. "Nathanson, who was personally responsible for tens of thousands of abortions, famously converted to the pro-life cause in the 1970s after he saw an unborn baby on ultrasound recoil from a vacuum abortion device before being sucked from its mother’s womb. The ultrasound footage was later turned into the famous and extremely influential pro-life video “The Silent Scream.”
You can read more about Nathanson's story by clicking the link below:

May God continue to turn hearts and minds to His truth so that the culture of Life can be celebrated and embraced everywhere!

I wonder if people know exactly what they are supporting when they say they support Planned Parenthood???????

Great post~"Ditto!" So sorry to hear about your loss:( Glad to hear your FIL is doing better...This cold/flu virus is nasty for the young, let alone the old. God bless your week and hope things get better.
Great Post, Tracy!
I had seen this video either on Fox or on a news site I read. The greed, ignorance, and evil of the abortion industry still amaze me. I'm glad you're getting the word out. And I, too, am sorry for your loss.
I have never seen this video before, it is shocking! So sorry to hear your father has been ill, glad to hear he is home recovering:) It has been a tough week for you with your dad being ill and the funeral. I will be praying for you:) Voted for you today
Hi Tracy! Sorry for the loss of your family friend. Very glad your FIL is okay and home! Glenn Beck devoted a show last week to Planned Parenthood (FOX News). The founder of PP, Margaret Sanger, was truly an evil woman. EWTN (Fr. Pavone, Priests for Life), as I am sure you know, has always reported on what goes on in these clinics. Excellent post BTW! +JMJ+
I gave you the Stylish Blogger Award you can claim it here http://pinkhippoboutique.blogspot.com/2011/02/sylish-blogger-award.html
Janelle
Stopping by to vote and say hi. We are heading out soon will have my computer but not sure how much time I will be on it for a few days:)
HI tracy, sorry about your loss and your FIL's not feeling well. Just wanted to say Hi and thanks for all you do for blogland!
Melissa
Hi Tiffany!
Thanks for your visit and comment. The friend that passed was an older man (in his 80s) and he was my parent's neighbor before my parents moved away across town. He will be greatly missed along with his smile and sense of humor :) My FIL is home now, but still weak and recovering.
Thanks Mary for stopping by and reading this post :) Hope you are doing well!
Hi Renee Ann,
I saw this video on FB through the Live Action page and I think it's important for others to know what Planned Parenthood is all about. Thank you for your kind comments and visit.
Hi Anna-Marie!
This video is shocking and I feel needs to be spread around to let others know what Planned Parenthood is all about. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. My FIL is home and slowly recovering and our friend will be missed greatly.
Hi Annita!
Thanks for the well wishes for my family and friend. Oh, Margaret Sanger, that's another whole story and a sad one at that! Her ways were evil and we continue to live in the culture of death that she advocated! EWTN and Fr. Pavone are such blessings for our church and communities! Thanks for stopping by Annita!
Hi Janelle,
Thank you so much for the award and congrats on receiving yours! What a nice surprise!
Hi Melissa,
Thanks for your kind comments and thanks for your visit! I'll be linking up to your LEGO link up sometime tonight :) Thanks for hosting it!
