Art Showcase and Thank You Melissa for my Giveaway Prizes !
Kimberly over at The Happy Hearts Academy is hosting an Art Showcase each week where bloggers can post their kid's art work. My children love to draw, doodle, paint, create and they love to see things that pertain to them on my blog.
So I decided to join Kimberly and others and post this drawing that my oldest daughter created (grade 5) with oil pastels. She attends a weekly homeschool art class for one hour a week and this is a drawing she recently completed.
Her creation was drawn on black construction paper. So to display it, I taped it to a white foam board and it is resting on a tabletop black display easel that I picked up at a craft store. I love the colors, flowers, and black butterfly at the bottom of her drawing.I hope to showcase other drawings my children have made and link up often to Kimberly's Art Showcase! Join the fun by clicking HERE!
I would like to say a BIG "thank you" to Melissa at The Joys of Home Educating for hosting her generous Birthday Extravaganza to help celebrate her recent birthday! It was so nice of her to give "un-birthday" presents to bloggers for her birthday!
I was chosen as a winner for not one, but two of her giveaways and she announced all the winners HERE ! I was so excited to receive her nice package recently and this is all the fun stuff I won:
Jesus Calling Kids Devotional Book
Word Pocket Chart with Word Family Cards and Scholastic Books
Melissa also included a cute pin and 4 LEGO club magazines for my children!
Thank you Melissa for my "un-birthday" gifts and I hope you had a blessed birthday!
Stop by Melissa's great blog! Right now she is posting about all her fun March plans, including lots of Dr. Seuss lessons!
Also, Lent begins this Wednesday on Ash Wednesday and I plan on posting our Lenten plans soon!
Please join Lynda, Anna-Marie and myself for March's No Ordinary Blog Hop (NOBH). You can link up any or all your posts for the entire month of March. The blogger with the most posts will be awarded a Star Blogger Award and each post will be an entry to a great giveaway! Click below for details!
