All Hallows Eve and All Saints' Day Celebrations 2012
Another All Hallows (Holy) Eve or Halloween has passed and today, November 1st, I hosted an All Saints' Day party at my house for our homeschool group. These past few days have been alot of fun full of festivities....
Carving Pumpkins with Dad...
Each Halloween my parents come for a visit and bring some goodies and treats for my cupcakes...
Grandpa being silly with a bat and rat on his head!
Trick-or-Treat time with friends and neighbors!
My son's friend, the grim reaper and my son, a Jedi, fighting evil
My daughter's friend, a colonial girl and my daughters, a witch, mermaid, warrior princess
My cupcakes dressed as a Mermaid, Warrior Princess, Sweet Witch, Jedi
We also celebrate All Saints' Day so it was time to turn the "Happy Halloween" banner to Happy All Saints' Day! You can see how we celebrated All Saints Day last year HERE.
St. Anthony the Abbot (a.k.a. Anthony of Egypt), St. Joan of Arc ( I love when Halloween costumes can be reused for Saint costumes like these two!), St. Cecilia, St. Frances Cabrini
Before each little saint stood in front of their peers and told a little bit about themselves and their friends guessed who they were, we had a Dad in our homeschool group talk about one of his favorite saints, St. Maximilian Kolbe. Thanks Mr. C. for sharing about this wonderful saint! Our children (and moms) loved your presentation!
Some of our little Saints
We had a few games, like find St. Lucy's eyeballs :) , that my daughter made, but this year it was such a beautiful day, many of the kids enjoyed just being outside in the woods and playing with their friends!
And what's a Saint party without yummy food that families brought to share. These holy cupcakes are always a hit!
Here's a great video of over 100 saints being sung in less than 2 minutes. My kids got a kick out of this! Enjoy!

What a fun few days, Tracy! Happy Feast of All Saints to you and your family:) Thanks for the link-back!
What a fun post!! I love all the saints costumes and how you repurposed your sign! :)
It's great that you opened up your home for an All Saints Party too. I love seeing pictures of children dressed as saints! Thanks for sharing the link with me. God bless!
