Wordless Wednesday - Perigee Moon
I see the moon, the moon sees me,
God bless the moon and God bless me!
- Hallelujah! Praise the LORD from the heavens; give praise in the heights.
- Praise him, all you angels; give praise, all you hosts.
- Praise him, sun and moon; give praise, all shining stars.
- Praise him, highest heavens, you waters above the heavens.
- Let them all praise the LORD'S name; for the LORD commanded and they were created
- Psalm 148: 1-5

You guys got some wonderful photos of the moon:) I love the orange color. I got a few picture but they didn't turn out this lovely. Just Beautiful.
Love the water below. Beautiful pics!
Beautiful!
Very beautiful!
Wonderful photos Tracy! Thank you for sharing them.
Hi Tracy,
That picture is absolutely amazing! What a way to capture Gods artwork in the sky. I just love it. I am so happy you were able to witness this beauty with your family. Beautiful scripture verse as well. Thanks for sharing this awesome picture.
As for what we are using for History and Science. We are in the middle of Exploring Creation with Astronomy Apologia. I am actually going to start Ocean Creatures next. Tay is really looking forward to it. As for history, we are using Pioneers and Patriots, which was recommended by Mother of Divine Grace. I find it a little dry and Tay does as well. I have been looking into the RC History you spoke of and I am thinking of getting it. Do you know anything about The Story of The World? I have noticed that this one is pretty popular. Have a wonderful rest of your week.
Hi Tracy, we were in Michigan for an overnight scouting event at the Great Lakes Naval Memorial and Museum. We too, went outside to check it out and it was beautiful but not as close as I was expecting. Your hubby took wonderful pictures of the moon!
Hi Anna-Marie,
I was wondering with your space study unit just finished, if you were able to see the beautiful moon and capture it. I bet your kids loved it! Thanks for your kind comments. Our camera makes it easy to get good shots of something so wonderful as this, oh and my husband's photography skills, not that I'm bragging on my husband or anything! :)
Hi Christine,
It was a windy night and the waves were rough, which made a nice picture, but not a warm night :) Thanks for stopping in and commenting!
Hi Renee Ann!
Thanks so much for visiting and commenting! Were you able to see the moon's beauty on this night also?
Hi Adriana,
Great to hear from you! Thank you for stopping in and leaving your comment! So glad I was able to share these photos on my blog :)
Hi Lynda,
Glad you enjoyed the shots! Were you able to share this beautiful sight with your mom and son? Hope so!
Hi Kimberly!
Thank you for your comments! It was a fun night to share with family and friends and God's artwork is breathtaking for sure!
I'll email you to chat curriculum! Hope you are having a blessed week!
Hi Noreen,
That sounds like fun to be camping with the moon so big and beautiful! Glad you got to see it for yourself. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! God bless!
Tracy,
These pictures are beautiful! We did not have nearly the clear shot of the moon that you did! (We also had sick people in our house!) What a fantastic moment to share with your family!
Thanks Heidi for stopping by and commenting! We weren't sure if we would get clear shots since it was hazy as the moon rose over the horizon, but as it got higher we could see the beautiful moon better! I'm sorry you had sick ones at home! I hope everyone is feeling better!
