SUPER Sleepy, SUPER Snake, and SUPER Savings !!!

SUPER Sleepy...

SUPER Snake...
Last week my son was in the woods with some of his friends and he came running into our house shouting, "We caught a snake Mom!" Yep, my son and his friends somehow managed to capture a garden snake and they played with it for two days! The neighborhood kids were all so very excited and my son was oh so very disappointed that we couldn't keep it as a pet!

My kids put the snake on our butterfly bush in our garden and it stayed there overnight and it was found on the bush the next morning! More excitement for my children! Can you find the snake? (Look in middle of the photo to see his black eye)

SUPER Savings...

Starting today, Wednesday, May 18, NC Harris Teeters are having TRIPLE coupons! Since I live in NC, I'm getting my 99 cent coupons or less ready for the sales. I am new to couponing and I'm excited to find some deals.
What is triple coupons?
All coupons 99¢ or less will be tripled in value, up to 20 coupons per day per VIC card.

I've been visiting Delly's Deals, my friend's coupon blog, to give me tips and tricks of saving money with couponing and I also log onto Southern Savers site to find a list of deals and printable coupons! I'll have to post any savings I find this week after tripling my coupons. I hope to save as much as I did HERE.

I'll be SUPER busy the rest of this week...
About 30 children from our homeschool group will be coming over to my house to see a puppet show with a retired teacher giving the show, my daughter's 11th birthday party is coming up at the end of this week, my son's Boy Scout graduation ceremony, running a 5K race with my daughter on Saturday morning, my husband and I will be giving a presentation to engaged couples about Natural Family Planning, and then one of my children will be attending a friend's birthday party over the weekend!

So I don't know when I'll get back to blog land to make another post, but when I do, I'll have lots to share...

Hi Tracy! Wow! It sounds like this week is a whirlwind. I have had a few of those lately. How cool that you are running a 5K with your daughter. I think that is amazing. O.K. the snake would totally freak me out. I have to say you are one brave lady to let the snake stay for a short time. Good for you, I am sure the kids had a great time. I love the picture of your little one sleeping. Buddy tends to fall asleep frequently during events and I am always taking a picture. Happy early B-Day to your daughter. 11, oh man, I am right there with you. We are getting pretty close those teenage years. I don't know if I should laugh or cry, maybe a little of both. I hope all goes well for you this week. Have a great race and a great B-Day party! I can't wait to see party pictures and Tay can't wait either. Have a great day!

My son's eyes were lit up with excitement when he told me about the garden snake capture! He was about in tears when I kept telling him we couldn't keep it as a pet! :( Thanks for stopping in :)
