Touchdown Treats for Super Bowl!
Are you ready for some football (treats)???
A few years ago before I started my blog here, I made these easy and yummy football treats for the Super Bowl party our family attended. If I remember correctly, I initially found the fun touchdown treats on a Rice Krispies' cereal box.
They are just Rice Krispies marshmallow treats made with Cocoa Krispies vs. the plain Rice Krispies. Then you roll each one into a football shape and put white icing on them for the stripes. I used a can of white icing with the various tips attached to draw simple lines on the football shapes. My children loved helping me make the shapes and drawing the icing lines.
Fun and easy and sure to be a hit at your next football/Super Bowl party! They were a hit at ours!
These would also be fun to make and easy to transport for a football tailgating party before game time!
What kind of yummy food do you like to serve before/during/after football games?

Love this idea, Tracy. You can di chocolate heart shapes for St. Valentine's Day I bet. Maybe use a cookie cutter?
So cute! How did you do the icing? In a bag? Sorry- I'm not the savviest chef!
Hi Patty! Hope your beautiful family is doing well with your sweet new addition! I love your cookie cutter idea too! That sounds like a fun way to make easy treats! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Delly!
If I remember correctly, I think I just used a can/tube of white decorating icing that you can squeeze out and make lines. The cans of icing with the different decorating tops on them. A bag might work too. :) Let me know if you try these! My kids did love to make them and eat them! :)
love this !! thanks..I will be the hit of the party...they are expecting my same old dip!
Hi momto8!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get to try to the treats and be the "hit" of the party ;) Let me know how everyone likes them if you get to make them! BTW, my oldest daughter told me we found the idea on the back of the Rice Krispies box! She has a better memory than me, but that would be a logical place to find the idea huh? :)
These look SO good! I may just have to try these for Sunday. Thanks for sharing!
God bless,
Lisa
Those are so seriously adorable!! Glad you took such good pictures to share.
The treat looks so yummy; thanks for the tutorial. Have a great Super Bowl Day.
Great treats, enjoy watching the super bowl. It comes on at midnight here so I won't get to see it. I only watch for the commercials anyway:)
I love rice crispy treats, but never even thought of using the chocolate kind. I think a trip to the grocery store is in order!!! Hmmm, do they sell chocolate marshmallows too?
