Recommendation for Great Saint Books for Young Readers!
I am thankful for great Saint books that I can read to my children during our homeschooling days!
Are you looking for a book that tells the lives of Saints that young children (and adults) can understand and appreciate? Great 2 Volume Saint books that I highly recommend are published by Pauline Books and Media and they are titled, Saints for Young Readers for Every Day, Volumes 1 and 2.
Volume 1 features a life of a Saint for every day from January through June. A wonderful array of Saints: women and men, teenagers and children of every ethnicity, age, and situation of life imaginable are presented.
Volume 2 completes the year with a story of a Saint for every day from July through December. These friends of God are wonderful role models for every young reader.
I try to read one Saint story daily to my children from these books. The stories are only about 1-2 pages long and we have all learned so much about the numerous men, women, and children that have sacrificed so much. These are the role models I pray my children will look up to as they grow in their faith. If you are looking for stories of Saints' lives that young children (and adults) can understand and enjoy, I would definitely recommend these books!
You can find these 2 Volumes also at Amazon HERE. If you choose to purchase them through my Amazon affiliate link, I will receive a small percentage back and be oh so grateful for the support!

We love these books too!
I LOVE it here! You ahve a new follower in me:) Thank you for the list!
We use these daily, too! By far my favorites saint books for elementary kids...just wish they had illustrations. But it's fun to supplement for that with other books;-) The saints are definitely something to be thankful for! Thank you so much for the sweet blog award too!
Hi Tracy. Thanks for following on facebook, I am now following you there too.
I will definitely look at the blog hop. Is it an ongoing thing?
Hi Jen!

Thanks Kylie! Yes, this month's "Thankful Hearts" blog hop will go on for the month of Nov. so link up as many times as you would like and let everyone know what you are thankful for in your posts. We do have plans to have a "No Ordinary December Blog Hop" with a new theme sentence that will last the entire month of Dec. so check back for details :)
I'm a little behind today on voting and I didn't comment yesterday, but I got'ter done. I am so country. Anyway, have a blessed weekend. I am working on posting about the award you passed to me. Thank you and Congratulations on receiving it yourself.
I have visited you before!! :) We do love these saints volumes- our #1 is pretty tattered as two of my older dds read it frequently too. Your blog is gorgeous!
Hi Lynda,
No problem about posting the award in a certain amount of time. It took me awhile to get my award post up :) It was fun to pass on another award to your Stylish Blog :) Hope you have had a great weekend!
Hi Lori!
Thanks for your visit again and kind comment about my blog, which is a work in progress. These saint books seem to be very popular in Catholic homes. I wish I grew up reading more about saints' lives, but I am counting my blessings to now share these inspirational and true stories with my children!
