Though I am a cradle Catholic, there is so much I don't know, and so much of "Catholic Life," that was not a part of my upbringing.Julie@teachinggoodeatershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12299361735005931044noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8611443170663004142.post-84995694973662119862011-12-08T17:50:22.372-05:002011-12-08T17:50:22.372-05:00I love learning more about the Catholic faith. I just love ...Thank you for such a beautiful post! I just love Lacy's site, as well. What a great coloring page to really explain the Solemnity to our younger ones. I am going to use it with my kiddos tomorrow!

At the Vigil Mass tonight, the celebrant talked about the confusion between the Annunciation and the feast of the Immaculate Conception. I like how he said that Mary's conception was a validation of the beauty of married love and that the sexual act between married people is a beautiful, wonderful thing and that the Mother of our Lord came from such an act. He said a lot of other wonderful things, but I really like how he tied in the importance of marriage and how highly the Lord always looked upon it.

Happy Feast of our Lady to you and your family!
God bless,
LisaLisa Boylehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12584089495171423348noreply@blogger.com
