"I wanna go 'ta 'chool toooo" Giveaway

Lynda at My Heart's Desire is hosting a great giveaway for toddler/preschool resources.  Hurry and enter, the deadline is no later than midnight PDT on Friday, October 1, 2010!

Here is part of Lynda's post about what is being given away to one lucky winner!

Sometimes including them [toddlers] in the lessons is not enough. They need their own activities to feel they are part of the school process. Giving them "school work" like their bigger siblings will give them a sense of responsibility and accomplishment. Just think how proud they will be when they show you what they've done.

You can find resources for toddlers and preschoolers just about everywhere, but who doesn't like to get stuff FREE.  Most bloggers like giveaways, and I am no different.  So, what goodies am I offering in my "I wanna go ta 'chool toooo" giveaway......

1.  Get Ready for Preschool Reading comes with an Activity Book that is 128 pages with 101 Things to Know About Reading, and a Dry Erase board and pen.  The Dry Erase board is ruled for practice in writing letters and numbers.  The opposite side is blank for all those wonderful art projects and scribbles they love to do.  The activities start their learning of pre-reading fundamentals, pre-writing practice, story building, phonics practice, and some interactive learning.

2.  A wall hanging Pocket Chart, and Pocket Chart Cards which includes 162 cards to start their learning of beginning addition and subtraction.

3.  More cards for your Pocket Chart for matching games, and Go Fish when you can give them some one-on-one time.

4.  5 different educational Foam Puzzles.  Toddlers and preschoolers can work on finger dexterity while learning Numbers, the Alphabet, the States, Kitchen Measurements, and the Solar System.  (Warning:  There are some small parts, so supervision will be required.)
These Foam Puzzles are also great for 1st and 2nd graders to practice with.  Having an older student work with toddlers and preschoolers while you work with another student, get some housework completed, or catch some quiet "mommy time" is also a great idea.

5. With all the school supplies you picked up for your students, you may have forgotten the little ones.  So, I have two Writing Tablets of specially lined paper for practicing their manuscript writing, and a personal notebook just for them.  The front and back covers are foam, and has 40 ruled sheets of paper. You will also get a 24 count box of crayons for all the coloring and drawing they love to do.
6. And finally, here is a great CD with fun songs to get moving to.  This CD is from the Learning Through Movement Series with the Monkeydoos which is a movement and learning program that will help with your child's cognitive, physical, and social development.

Be sure to visit Lynda's blog post here for more details about the giveaway and to find out how you can enter to win such great learning resources for your toddler/preschooler!
